Deliveries
Standard
delivery explained (Single Man Service)
This is usually
a single person delivery service who may
require assistance, this could include lifting, when
they deliver.
We are unable to request that the courier contacts you prior to delivery
by means of a phone call if requested i.e. please can the courier ring
1 hour before, this is not a procedure the single man courier can carry
out.
Standard Single
Man All Day Delivery: Your appliance will be delivered on a day
chosen by you. When choosing this option, no delivery time will be given.
Standard Single
Man Delivery Monday-Friday: You may choose morning
(AM) for your delivery slot (can be 07:30am-1:00pm). Extra
cost £9.95
Standard Single
Man Delivery Saturday only: You can ask for your item
to be delivered before 1:00pm on a Saturday of your choice. Extra
cost £19.95
Please note: these time slots are dependant
on your postal area.
Premium
/ Standard delivery explained (Two Man service)
This is usually
a two person delivery team who will deliver your goods to a room of
your choice (ground floor only), remove
and dispose of the packaging and wait while you inspect the goods. Please
ensure that this procedure is followed.
You can contact the office the afternoon before the date of delivery
for a contact number for the carrier along with the consignment number
for information about your delivery.
Receipt of Goods
On receipt of goods, the item must be checked and signed for
before the courier leaves.
If you are unhappy with the goods in any way, the goods must
be refused and returned with the courier.
PLEASE CHECK PRODUCT BEFORE SIGNING!
In the case of the standard or premium delivery, if you are unhappy
in anyway please refuse to sign the courier’s paperwork as any
signature may invalidate your claim and any subsequent claim we may
have against the courier.
For one man deliveries, you must inspect the goods upon receipt
and while the courier is still at the property, checking for cosmetic
damage or missing parts.
If your goods are damaged and you have carried out the correct
procedure above see below for detailed instructions and procedure.
Failure to carry out this check may result in any claims for damage
being refused.
Customer
procedure for notifying damage by Manufacturer
Indesit Group (Brands Hotpoint, Indesit, Cannon, Creda)
Indesit Group take customer service very seriously and have requested
that we as suppliers of their goods allow them to deal with you the
customer direct to try and speed up the process and cut out the middle
man they request that you ring

Offer a damage allowance which will be paid direct or
Send an engineer to repair if feasible or
Arrange an exchange if previous options not possible
This must be done within 48 hours of receipt of goods please
always make a note of the person you spoke to and the date and time
of your call
If you do resolve your issue using this procedure could you
please register the fact with us by emailing at internetsales@trimet.co.uk
quoting your Name, SOP reference, product details and problem/damage.
This is to enable us to monitor the effectiveness of the courier
and implement and improvements that may be necessary.
This procedure does not effect your statutory rights and in the event
that you are not satisfied with this procedure then please do not hesitate
to contact us at internetsales@trimet.co.uk

and we will assist in helping to resolve any issues that may arise.

All Other Manufacturers
For all other manufacturers please email internetsales@trimet.co.uk
quoting your Name, SOP Reference, Product details and brief description
of the problem/damage we will then contact you and assist in resolving
any issues you may have.

4.30pm (excluding Bank Holidays)
This procedure is designed to assist both you as the customer and us
as the supplier as we insure all our deliveries from when they are despatched
to courier until you accept receipt and we have strict laid down procedures
to follow with both the courier and the manufacturer.
If you are storing these goods prior
to installation the above procedure must still be adhered to as we have
to make a claim if an issue should unfortunately arise.
Any changes to your
arranged delivery must be made via e-mail internetsales@trimet.co.uk
at least 3 working days
prior to delivery, Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. e.g. Change
to delivery date or address. Failure to do so resulting in a failed
delivery through no fault of our own will result in a second charge
being made. This charge will be a minimum of £25.
Deliveries
can take place from 7.00am through to 8.00pm - especially if the courier
is busy.
Failure
to have someone present at the delivery at the alloted time will result
in a re-delivery charge as we use a third party courier who will charge
us.
If goods are refused for ANY reason please inform us within 24 hours
by email (internetsales@trimet.co.uk).
Quoting your name, SOP reference, product details and a brief description
of the problem/damage.
Access to property:
In order to assist our Courier with your delivery, could you please
provide any information that you feel may restrict access to your property.
i.e. Stairs, Intercom, Narrow entries etc. We cannot be held responsible
for failed deliveries due to lack of information regarding access to
the property which could result in a failed delivery charge.
This does not affect
your statutory rights as consumer.
Cancellations
/ change of delivery address: If an order is cancelled
or a delivery address is amended after goods have been despatched or
collected by the courier through no fault of our own, this is usually
less than 3 working days (Mon-Fri bank holidays excluded) prior to delivery,
a fee will be charged based on the actual charges we incur from the
courier. This is usually a minimum of £25.
Price
Busters Enquiries
Please send a list
of the items you require pricing and a link to the website(s) where
you have seen them. We will attempt to beat your target price based
on the information you provide and if this information is verifiable
at the time of checking, your order will progress as normal. We will
inform you of the outcome as soon as our sales team verify your order.
If we are unable to confirm this price, we will email the link we have
checked and the date and time of our verification within 24 hrs (excluding
weekends and bank holidays and our annual holidays).
Please note, we can only honour prices which are
correct at the time our sales team process your order, and where the
competitor's product is brand new and not graded, obsolete or second
hand.
We reserve the right to cancel the order and refund monies paid in full
- refunds for unconfirmed price matches would normally take 7-10 days.
At this point you will also have the right to proceed at our original
price or cancel your order.
Extra Charges
We have a policy
of not hiding any charges, if there is any additional charge to be added
to your order you will be notified and we will not process payment until
you confirm acceptance of these charges. Please
note that postcodes shown below will be subject to a minimum surcharge
of £25.00.
POST

PH41-44, KA15-17, KA27, KA28, KW1, PH19-50, PO31-41, TR, ZE.
Collection of old Appliance
If
you would like any information regarding the potential cost of returning
an item prior to purchase please email us at internetsales@trimet.co.uk.
Where the customer exercises their right to cancel we will refund money
owed within 30 days of cancellation.
Faulty
Goods
Claims regarding
faulty goods will be subject to the terms of the manufacturers warranty
but this does not affect your statutory rights. Please note that once
an electrical appliance is installed manufacturers would need to send
a service engineer to inspect any appliance to ascertain whether or
not any fault was due to a product defect or a bad installation. Remember
that you should use a qualified fitter for certain appliances (i.e.
gas appliances should only be fitted by someone with the appropriate
CORGI certification).
Credit Card Payments
We currently accept
Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Switch/Maestro,
Solo, Electron and Diner's Club cards. Regretfully, we do not accept
American Express at this time.
Appliance Bargains shall in no
way be liable for any Import Duty, Local Taxes, Customs Clearance, etc.
that might be charged for importing goods from the UK to your country.
It is up to you, the customer to find out what rate of duty is applicable
in your country/state. In some cases your postal service will not release
your goods until the duty has been paid.
The best advice we can give is that if you are unsure of any aspect
of dealing with us then please phone or contact us by email and we'll
be happy to advise.
